Poverty Graduation Programme for Afghan Refugees
The Poverty Graduation Programme for Afghan Refugees, funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), is dedicated to empowering Afghan refugees in Pakistan. Its primary objective is to enhance their self-reliance and livelihoods by equipping them with transferable skills applicable in both Pakistan and Afghanistan upon their safe and dignified return. The project has successfully completed three phases, positively impacting 7,229 families through the provision of livelihood assets and skills training. Currently in its fourth phase, the project aims to uplift an additional 3,000 households out of poverty.
