Stakeholder Meetings for Balochistan Water Engagement

Head of Grants together with PPAF colleagues conducted a field visit to Quetta between Jan 16 -18, 2019. During the visit, series of meetings were held with Pakistan Army, various provincial government departments, universities and other stakeholders including Commander Southern Command, Pakistan Army - Quetta, Additional Secretary General to Chief Secretary Balochistan, Deputy Secretary Irrigation, Secretary PHE, Secretary Education, Additional Secretary P&D, Secretary Women Development, Deputy Director PCRWR, DG Environment Protection Agency, with Treasurer, Registrar and Chairperson Disaster Management Department and Undergrad office, University of Balochistan, and founder/President- Environment Club - Sardar Bahadur Khan Women University, media group of journalists from Balochistan, Vice Chancellor - BUITEMS, women parliamentarians from Balochistan Assembly, UN Women and other prominent women from Balochistan.

Meetings aimed to apprise them of PPAF's work and request their support and participation in PPAF's upcoming Balochistan Water Engagement (Feb 2019 –Jan 2020). Head of Grants also visited PPAF office in Quetta and conducted a detailed meeting with team stationed in Quetta on their current and future roles.
