PPAF wins Diversity & Inclusion Award at GDIC 2018

Pakistan Poverty Alleviation has been awarded the Global Diversity & Inclusion Award 2018 at the Global Diversity & Inclusion Benchmarks Conference (GDIC) held in Karachi. The award is an acknowledgment of PPAF innovative approach to ensure inclusion and diversity at all levels of work.

Ms. Roshan Khursheed Bharucha, Chairperson Poverty Alleviation Fund and Acting Chairperson National Commission for Human Development was the chief guest on the occasion.

PPAF won the award for implementing an inclusive and innovative organizational culture that values growth and success, following policies and procedures that are employee friendly and ensuring diversity and inclusion in the activities it is undertaking for its communities at the grassroots. PPAF is the winner of prestigious award among other competent multinationals and institutes including Telenor, British Council, Agha Khan University, Standard Chartered Bank, Mobilink, Pepsi and Nestle.

PPAF’s efforts for building and promoting a diverse and inclusive work culture have been recognized earlier as well when it won the Diversity & Inclusion Outstanding Achievement Award at the Global Diversity & Inclusion Benchmarks Conference held in Karachi last year.

The Global Diversity & Inclusion Benchmarks (GDIB) standard is hosted by the Center for Global Inclusion USA. The GDIB helps organizations across the world determine strategy and measures progress in managing diversity and fostering inclusion.
